Maintenance Team Lead

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Maintenance Team Lead to join a dynamic, high-performing team focused on driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise production downtime across shifts by applying strong analytical skills.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and operational records in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance and system efficiency through data-driven decision making.
  • Manage and coach shift teams to meet key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Identify team development needs, conduct performance reviews, and foster a growth mindset to drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Oversee training compliance to meet ISO standards and evolving operational demands by providing timely feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure adherence to 6S standards, promoting a safe, efficient, and clean working environment that supports employee well-being and productivity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation, problem-solving, and operational excellence through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering systems.
- Proven leadership and coaching experience in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
