From the Head of Tax – “This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to join an international organisation that generates revenue in billions across a number of tax jurisdictions, this role will involve helping me with all key corporate tax aspects of the group, with a strong focus on the development of tax planning strategies to optimise the group’s effective tax rate. I want the candidate to be ambitious and confident enough that they want to step into my shoes as Head of Tax down the line.”
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Head of Tax on all key corporate tax matters, with a strong focus on developing global tax planning strategies to optimise the group’s effective tax rate.
Collaborate across international teams (finance, legal, corporate finance, investor relations, HR, and operations) to deliver tax-efficient solutions for M&A, restructuring, financing, and cash repatriation.
Lead global transfer pricing strategy and compliance , coordinating with internal and external advisors.
Support the preparation of non-U.S. current and deferred tax provisions for U.S. GAAP financial statements.
Oversee Irish tax compliance , including return preparation and supporting calculations.
Manage tax audits, disputes, and relationships with authorities globally.
Candidate Profile:
CTA Qualified with 10+ years PQE in corporate tax (Big 4 or large multinational experience preferred).
Strong technical expertise in Pillar II, BEPS, and global tax regulations .
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex issues.
Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
Ambitious and confident, with a clear appetite for leadership.
