Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Retail Supervisor to join their busy Dublin Garden Centre. This role involves leading a small team, delivering exceptional customer service, managing merchandising and stock, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store. The ideal candidate will help drive sales, maintain high retail standards, and create a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and support the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers on plants, gardening products, and related items. Maintain high standards of merchandising and presentation, ensuring stock is replenished and displays are engaging, especially during seasonal campaigns. Oversee store operations including tills, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures, ensuring full compliance with company policies. Assist with deliveries, stock control, and inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff at all times. Support training and development of team members, providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor or Team Leader, ideally within a garden Centre, DIY, or similar retail environment. Strong customer service skills with a positive and approachable attitude. Proven ability to motivate and lead a small team effectively. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Confident with till systems, cash handling, and basic administration. Interest or knowledge in plants, gardening, or horticulture is an advantage (training provided).
