About the Role: As a Senior Cybersecurity Pen Tester, you will lead the charge in identifying vulnerabilities within web and mobile applications and their supporting systems. Your role will encompass: Leading Testing Efforts: Conduct thorough penetration testing to replicate techniques used by malicious attackers. Reporting Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports and present results to key stakeholders, including application owners and developers. Collaborating for Security: Work hand-in-hand with operations and software development teams to address potential weaknesses. Research and Development: Contribute to the creation of tools that assist in vulnerability discovery. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should bring: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in web application penetration testing or ethical hacking. Preferred certifications: OSCP, GWAPT, GXPN, GPEN, LPT, CEH, or other relevant security certifications. Your Skill Set: Demonstrated manual testing experience across all OWASP Top 10 categories. Intermediate understanding of application security mechanisms, including authentication, authorisation, and data validation. Proficiency with penetration testing tools like Burp Suite, nmap, Wireshark, and Metasploit. Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or SQL. Familiarity with web services technologies (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST) and frameworks (J2EE, .NET). Why Join Our Client?
