O' Hare Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Deli Supervisor for the Cork City area. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the Deli Department on a day to day basis to meet customer expectations. You will do this by ensuring all customers receive the highest level of range, hygiene, value and quality of Deli Products and by leading the team on a journey of excellence in customer service and their own development. Responsibilities Include: Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department Managing the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area Completing any back office administrative duties as required Assisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgets Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: The ability to work in high-pressure situations Previous fresh food / Deli Management experience Food Safety and Hygiene HACCP course complete Excellent organisational and time management skills Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence A strong work ethic Ability to display professionalism and reliability Candidates must be flexible in their availability on working hours A friendly and confident personality
