This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre planning professional to work on some of the most exciting and technically challenging construction projects in Ireland. Our client is one of Irelands leading construction companies, renowned for delivering large-scale building and civil engineering projects across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure. Senior Planner Responsibilities: Prepare detailed contract and project programmes and produce ongoing monthly progress reports. Monitor progress trends, outputs, and resources across projects to enhance the planning departments knowledge base. Complete all scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and live contracts, ensuring delivery to the highest standards. Collaborate closely with the project team on all planning and schedule-related activities. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the wider project team, supply chain, and other stakeholders. Execute short- to medium-term planning reviews and provide impartial, forward-looking insight to mitigate project risks. Challenge, critique, and explore alternative construction methodologies to drive continuous improvement and achieve optimal project outcomes. Utilise Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) to manage and report on project schedules and progress. Necessary Requirements: Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 5+ years experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction and/or civil engineering sectors. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Proven track record of working on large-scale construction projects. Excellent analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage competing priorities under pressure.
