The Opportunity
CBTax is one of the fastest-growing R&D tax specialists in the UK and Ireland and we're scaling rapidly in Dublin. As an Associate R&D Technical Consultant, you'll work directly with some of Ireland's most innovative businesses helping them claim tax relief for work on groundbreaking technology, science, and engineering.

What You'll Be Doing
- Meet with clients (on-site and virtually) to understand their R&D activities
- Conduct interviews with engineers, scientists, and technical leaders
- Analyse technical information and distil it into compelling, HMRC-compliant reports
- Collaborate with tax and finance teams to build and submit robust claims
- Stay up to date with R&D tax legislation and industry innovation trends
- Take ownership of multiple projects with training, mentorship, and clear progression
What We're Looking For
- A degree in a STEM subject (e.g., Engineering, Science, Tech, Maths)
- Excellent written communication: you'll be writing technical reports
- Strong analytical mindset: can break down complex ideas with clarity
- A confident, personable communicator: comfortable with C-suite interactions
- Curiosity & coachability: drive to grow in a client-facing role
