12 Months, Specific Purpose Full-Time Post Position Summary We are currently recruiting two Research Assistants to join our research team to develop innovative technologies for topical and transdermal drug delivery. The candidate will work with industrial partners to conduct a specified programme of research aimed at advancing the preclinical development of immunosuppressive therapeutic drug formulations for the management of skin conditions. The project seeks to address key challenges in drug delivery such as enhancing drug bioavailability, controlling drug release kinetics, and ensuring skin compatibility. The qualified individuals will be responsible for conducting the research activities and support preclinical development of both semi-solid and solid drug products for the management of skin conditions. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication, planning, organisational, problem-solving, practical, and record-keeping skills. Applicants must hold a primary and/or postgraduate degree in Pharmacy or a related Pharmaceutical Science discipline and have proven experience in the formulation and evaluation of topical and transdermal drug products.
