Trade Centre Manager – Building, Plumbing & Electrical
Are you a natural leader with a passion for construction, customer service, and team development? We’re looking for a Trade Centre Manager to oversee a thriving Building, Plumbing & Electrical department for a leading home and hardware retailer supplying trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts across the region.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a key department, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement a business plan that drives sales, service excellence, and operational success.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Building, Plumbing & Electrical Trade Centre.

Drive sales and margin growth through customer relationship building and market insight.

Collaborate with directors and senior managers on business planning and execution.

Manage stock levels, reordering, and merchandising across core product lines.

Coach and motivate a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service.

About You

Proven sales and/or management experience in the construction or building materials sector.

Deep knowledge of the construction industry and experience dealing with trade professionals.

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Commercially astute with strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.

Confident with IT systems and basic accounting.
