Aon Graduate Programme 2025 – Global Risk Consulting - Life Sciences Industry

Have you completed your third level degree or are you on track to achieve it? Are you interested in commencing your career as part of a global advisory firm? Do you keep up to date with modern innovations in business and science? Would you enjoy a dynamic and diverse role providing strategic guidance to market leading multinationals every day? If so, this might be the role for you

This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

About Aon Global Risk Consulting – Life Sciences

Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) is the consulting division within Aon Commercial Risk Solutions. While companies all face many of the same challenges and opportunities, every industry is different and requires dedicated expertise. AGRC’s Industry Verticals are tasked with delivering Aon’s consulting solutions with an industry focus. From early-stage biotechnology start-ups to large multinational pharmaceutical, our Life Sciences Consulting team brings sector knowledge and expertise to our clients. AGRC’s Life Sciences Industry Vertical works closely with some of the largest organizations in the world to deliver solutions to challenges and access to opportunities created by risk.

What the day will look like

The Graduate Programme will commence in Summer 2025 (typically August) and has been designed to identify and support the development of key future talent. As such, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a genuine interest, drive and potential to build a lasting career at Aon.

These below will be few of the challenges the ideal individual will face:

- Being involved in our risk and consulting operations, through on-the-job learning opportunities and participation in global consulting and risk finance projects
- Experiencing the full lifecycle of our consulting business — from winning new business, financial modelling and business planning to delivering workshops and reports
- Focusing on developing industry expertise and learning more about the risks of global organizations and how they are managed
- Developing client-management skills and building relationships with a broad spectrum of people
- Working with key business leaders across our insurance, finance, compliance and risk consulting groups

How this opportunity is different

Your learning and development will be fast-paced and hands-on, giving you the technical knowledge and client management skills you need to succeed. You will be assigned a mentor at the beginning of your career who will meet with you regularly — both during your initial training and beyond — to ensure your career path is on track for success.

Thanks to the variety of services we offer our clients, and the diverse range of clients we manage, there is no such thing as a typical career path at Aon. During the graduate programme, you will be encouraged to explore opportunities across the business in a wide breadth of areas. These may involve joining specialist content teams to develop specific expertise or gaining broader experience as part of wider business units outside the core role. There are also a wide range of roles and responsibilities available to you to take on beyond the graduate programme. Many of our graduates continue their professional training and development while working towards successful careers as consultants and advisors managing their own clients.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from:

- Access to an attractive range of benefits via our online benefits portal
- Participation in the Aon EMEA Launch Development Programme
- Career opportunities across Ireland and globally
- Flexible work hours and hybrid working arrangement
- Opportunity to work with passionate, motivated colleagues who will support your career growth
- Global-facing role, with opportunity to work with colleagues around the world
- Competitive salary at € 35,000 per year.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are looking for motivated, passionate, eager to learn and grow graduates with the following skills:

- Applicants will have achieved (or be on track to achieve) a third level degree; all disciplines are welcome
- Experience (or internship) in Consulting, Audit, Risk Management, or Insurance roles is desirable
- Willing to travel to other European locations during the placement, to take part in various projects and training events
- Numeracy and analytical abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English language); any other major language is a plus
- Comfortable interacting with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels within an organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
- International experience is a plus. This can be studying abroad, internships abroad or an interest in travelling.

How we support our colleagues

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. Plus, our agile, inclusive environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions, but we also recognize that flexibility goes beyond just the place of work... and we are all for it. We call this Smart Working

Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.

Aon values an innovative, diverse workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves. Aon is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
