We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Finance to join our diverse and dynamic team at ICON. As a senior member of our Global Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial performance across our organisation by leading strategic financial negotiations and supporting enterprise-level commercial decision‑making. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to manage key client relationships and optimise the financial framework for our services. This is a highly visible role that blends financial expertise with commercial acumen making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment. What You Will Be Doing: - Leading commercial negotiations with strategic alliance clients to tailor enterprise-level agreements that meet their specific needs. - Providing high-quality, timely support to the Proposals team to ensure proposals are commercially sound and aligned with company objectives. - Collaborating with Finance Business Partnering teams to support the achievement of annual budgets across divisions. - Partnering closely with Legal, Business Development, and operational leadership teams on deal structures and client agreements. - Managing the integrity and accuracy of pricing tools and financial models to support decision-making. - Utilising financial and operational data to provide insights that improve pricing, profitability, and performance. - Managing and developing a small team. Your Profile: - Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience. - >6 years of post qualification experience in commercial finance at a management level. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels. - Experience managing people and developing talent. - A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all outputs. - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling tools. - Ability to manage competing priorities and switch between strategic and tactical thinking. - Experience navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder environments including Executive leadership.
