Responsibilities Oversee Health & Safety on site, ensuring collective ownership by all stakeholders. Control and manage plant on site, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose with necessary certification. Promote a strong safety culture, proactively resolving potential threats and escalating serious issues to Senior Management. Select and appoint site supervisory roles specific to the project Clearly communicate the Project Execution Plan and updates to all stakeholders. Manage subcontractors and suppliers. Review design documents and actively participate in design team meetings. Manage the construction team, delegate responsibilities, and ensure coordination of works. Develop short-term programmes and report weekly progress against target programme. Ensure all works comply with Building Regulations, design specifications, and applicable standards. Manage direct reports on site, including performance management, development plans, and absence management. Support continuous professional development for yourself and your team. Candidate Requirements Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent. Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in large-scale residential construction. Excellent knowledge of current building regulations and certification standards.
