This role is a PCF holding position, subject to approval by the Central Bank under their Fitness and Probity Regime. The roles are PCF-12: Head of Compliance, PCF-14: Chief Risk Officer, and PCF-52: Head of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Legislation Compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage compliance and risk frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and Group standards.
- Oversee compliance and risk monitoring programs, including annual Compliance and Risk Monitoring Plans.
- Ensure effective policies and processes to identify, monitor, and report compliance and risk exposures.
- Maintain and update policies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Group standards.
- Manage and enhance the AML framework to meet local and Group AML requirements.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and advise on emerging regulatory changes.
- Report regularly on risk and compliance matters to Senior Management and the Board.
- Foster a positive risk and compliance culture through training and awareness programs.
- Support business and Group Risk and Compliance on risk and compliance-related matters.
- Act as the lead regulatory contact and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Handle additional risk and compliance duties, such as Internal Control Supervision and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Experience in compliance and risk management, with management experience.
- Experience in the fund administration sector, particularly in the AIF sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a pragmatic, approachable, and independent demeanor.
- A relevant compliance qualification (e.g., LCI, ICA Diploma, ACAMS).
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) to interact professionally with both internal and external parties.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Efficient and effective team player.
