Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. P2020 Rollouts systems carries out progressive, supervised and safe production changes based on a model of production resources, used by the vast majority of all production services at Google to get new binaries, configs, and resource changes into production, whether on a schedule or in an emergency. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize the core metrics and SLO platform, focusing on scalability and data fidelity for Rollouts' Critical User Journeys. Apply advanced data science and analytics techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection) to transform raw data into high-value, actionable insights for product teams. Develop and extend robust data models of critical Rollouts usage patterns to enhance predictability and enable proactive capacity and reliability planning. Define and implement definitive product metrics and SLOs that measure and guarantee Rollouts' quality of service, including developing automated insights and alerting. Collaborate effectively across the Rollouts organization to drive consensus and adoption of data-driven improvements.
