Software Engineer, Routing Infrastructure and Analytics

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in software engineering. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of new control systems features, including BGP/Routing security and safety mechanisms at the Internet Edge and in Network Core. Participate in the engineering efforts within the team and with partner teams, from design to implementation, and solving complex technical challenges around scalable control of Google's production network traffic. Be able to productionize, deploy, and operate control systems and tools in collaboration with SRE and other Engineering teams. Collect and analyze data from the network to provide actionable insights and motivate new designs. Adopt best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
