Role: The Head of AI & Automation at Staycity Group will spearhead the integration and advancement of AI and automation technologies throughout the organization. This role blends hands-on software engineering with strategic leadership, enabling departments to leverage AI effectively. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team focused on automation and AI implementation, balancing coding responsibilities with strategic oversight and training initiatives. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI, or related fields Proven experience in software development, automation, and AI technologies Solid experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Mandatory AI literacy, with deep familiarity in AI trends, tools, and platforms Deep understanding of GenAI platforms and how they can be leveraged and embedded into automated systems What you can do for us... Lead, mentor, and grow a small, specialized team made up of software automation engineers, an AI project manager, an AI data scientist, and an AI engineer Evaluate, recommend, and implement the most effective AI tools and platforms, guiding the company's technology choices Identify, assess, and prioritize AI-driven opportunities across departments using clear return-on-investment metrics Conduct rigorous "buy vs. build" evaluations for AI software and solutions, ensuring cost-effective decision-making Develop and maintain a long-term AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals. Design, review, and oversee the coding and implementation of automation solutions Build and deliver AI literacy and upskilling programs to empower staff across the organization Promote structured, systematic thinking about how AI can transform and improve business processes.
