The Opportunity The Landowner Liaison Lead will be responsible for supporting the NTA in building relationships with landowners, both residential and commercial that will be directly impacted by the delivery of the Schemes and overseeing all activities from a landowner liaison perspective, acting as the main point of contact for all landowner queries and will ensure that consistent messaging is delivered to affected landowners particularly around the impact of upcoming developments e.g. timelines and impact on access to their property. The candidate is required to have 7+ years experience in stakeholder and communications management and at least 5 years experience conducting landowner liaison activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high value road and / or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity to CBCIW. Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable Land and property acquisition processes; The Irish property market and a strong understanding of compulsory purchase law and practice; The obligations on public sector organisations in acquiring land and property; The statutory planning system in Ireland; Carrying out internal assurance of consents applications; Delivering solutions and results in dynamic environments; Carrying out specialised property valuations and appraisals; Actively contributing, negotiating and concluding property-based agreements involving a wide variety of stakeholders; Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting; Quality management and process improvement practices and systems, preferably within the construction sector. Best practice communication tools and social media channels; The design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural, engineering or construction sectors; Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting; Managing high-performing staff / teams including carrying out performance management, undertaking resource planning and embedding a focus on continuous improvement and best-practice; and Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector. As a Landowner Liaison at Arup, you will: Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial landowners impacted by the Schemes, ensuring clear and consistent communication about project timelines and property access. Act as the main point of contact for all landowner queries, providing timely and accurate information to address concerns and facilitate smooth project delivery. Oversee all landowner liaison activities, ensuring that all interactions and communications are aligned with the project's objectives and regulatory requirements. Negotiate and conclude property-based agreements, leveraging your expertise in land and property acquisition processes and compulsory purchase law to achieve favorable outcomes for all stakeholders. Lead internal assurance of consents applications, ensuring compliance with statutory planning systems and quality management practices within the construction sector. Does this role inspire you?
