Legal Secretary - Litigation | Permanent Role | South Mall, Cork
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 DOE
Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | Fully Onsite
A well-established law firm based on South Mall, Cork is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy and dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an excellent opportunity for a committed professional with strong litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the litigation department of this firm
- Typing legal correspondence, documents, and reports via dictaphone transcription
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and handling incoming calls and correspondence
- File management (electronic and physical), including drafting, filing, and archiving documents
- Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Executive
- Previous litigation experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in dictaphone/audio typing is essential
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills
- Ability to handle a busy workload in a professional, confidential, and efficient manner
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
