The Role
We are looking for a Senior Director of EMEA and LATAM Field Marketing who brings a clear vision and a deep understanding of B2B Marketing in the digital and technology sectors, including expertise in data storage and management, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader whose primary focus will be to align marketing initiatives and execution with the business priorities of EMEA and LATAM. This seasoned professional will blend a strategic marketing mindset with a proven track record of operational excellence. With a hands-on approach, the ideal candidate will develop and execute Area-specific action plans that drive measurable impact, enhancing opportunity volume and strengthening the pipeline. Leading a team of Field Marketers, the Senior Director will ensure that every marketing effort is not only tightly integrated but also directly supports the specific needs and priorities of the EMEA and LATAM regions, fostering growth and bolstering our regional business objectives. As an integral part of the EMEA and LATAM leadership team, this individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across the sales organization and marketing ecosystem to develop, refine, and execute a GTM strategy and omnichannel marketing plan that are both globally aligned and locally resonant.
Reporting to the VP of WW Field Marketing, this role requires a leader who will make a direct impact on the company’s success. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic foresight and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every initiative is executed with focus and precision to deliver results that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- As a key member of the EMEA and LATAM Leadership team, you will own the marketing relationship with sales for the region, acting as a strategic and trusted partner. You will align the marketing strategy and plan with key business goals, objectives, and sales plays, ensuring marketing initiatives are intricately tied to driving business growth and measurable impact.
- Serve as the trusted marketing advisor to business and marketing leadership for EMEA and LATAM, directing a mix of marketing tactics that are rigorously measured against KPIs to support and drive growth.
- Lead and own a plan with your direct team of Area Marketing Managers and Account Based Marketing Managers, which is centered on in-market execution. This plan will be pivotal in supporting the advancement of opportunities, achieving both immediate results and long-term strategic success.
- Work cross-functionally across all marketing departments, ensuring the implementation and execution of an aligned and integrated EMEA and LATAM marketing plan that enables the region to not only compete but excel in the marketplace, accelerate pipeline growth, and advance opportunities.
- Be adept at interpreting account insights and campaign, program, and event reporting to understand and optimize the impact of marketing. Use this data to strategically plan for the future, making informed decisions that enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Have comprehensive oversight of the EMEA & LATAM geo-marketing budget, resources, and external agencies, ensuring strategic allocation and management that aligns with company priorities and delivers on marketing objectives.
- Lead, recruit, motivate, and mentor a team of strategic, data-driven marketers who are equipped for the next generation of marketing challenges.
Key Requirements
- You are an experienced marketer with a clear, strategic vision and in-depth experience in B2B marketing within the technology sector, particularly in areas such as data storage and management, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
- You have a proven track record in creating and executing strategic marketing plans that are directly aligned with business priorities and goals, driving significant growth in business opportunities, and delivering measurable results against KPIs.
- You are a strong, strategic thinker and problem solver who leverages a combination of data and creativity to develop plans that address specific business challenges and drive Area-level focus.
- You can effectively engage, influence, and mobilize stakeholders at various levels within a large, matrixed organization through your relationship-building skills and strong executive presence.
- You have demonstrated the ability to design, plan, and lead the execution of high-impact, creative marketing initiatives and programs that are in clear alignment with both global and Area-specific business strategies.
- You have experience leading and managing a team of marketers, with the ability to both provide strategic direction and 'roll up your sleeves' to ensure projects are executed with precision and aligned with strategic goals.
- You foster a culture of innovation and creativity, consistently thinking outside the box to introduce new ideas that can propel the business forward.
- You are comfortable navigating new challenges and possess the leadership skills to guide and adapt as the organization undergoes transformation.
- You possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver compelling presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.
About This Position:
- The candidate must be located in close proximity to a NetApp office and required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We Offer You
