We are looking for an experienced and talented Instrument Technician to join our mission‑critical industrial projects around Dublin. STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental practices, you will play an essential role for our business.

The Opportunity

As our Instrument Technician, you’ll work in a hands‑on leadership role in the delivery of our projects, working closely with both our site management teams and our client representative.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading a team in the installation and/or maintenance of instrumentation systems.

- Lots of fault‑finding and rectification.

- Providing technical support to the operational teams.

- Carrying out bench test calibrations.

- Loop checking and testing instrument and verifying cabling.

- Maintaining accurate inspection and test records to comply with current legislation.

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years’ experience in an Instrument Technician role, ideally leading teams.

- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation.

- Good literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD etc.

- Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets, motivated to deliver our projects on‑time and to budget.

Desirable but not Essential

- Prior experience on mission critical (pharma or data centre) projects.
