Duty Manager Campus Residences DAC Location: DCU Campus Residences, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (11-Month Contract) Salary: €40,000 per annum Reports To: General Manager About Us Campus Residences DAC is a dynamic and customer-focused company based at Dublin City University (DCU). We manage over 1,400 student bedrooms across DCU Glasnevin, St. Patricks, and All Hallows campuses. Our core function is providing safe, modern student accommodation, while also offering short-term stays and conferencing services during summer months. Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and capable Duty Manager to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations within our student residences. This is a frontline role, supporting residents, guests, and event clients while leading staff and ensuring service excellence across reception, guest services, accommodation, and events. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations across key departments. Lead and support team members to deliver consistent service standards. Resolve student and guest issues promptly and professionally. Monitor guest satisfaction and implement service improvements. Assist with the setup and delivery of conferences and events. Maintain effective shift handovers and ensure all departments are informed of key issues. Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire, and HACCP procedures. Attend management meetings and contribute to planning and service delivery. What Were Looking For Leaving Certificate and/or relevant qualification in hospitality, tourism, or management. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a large accommodation or hospitality environment. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Proficient in IT systems; experience with StarRez and KX is an advantage. Ability to work a flexible 5-over-7-day schedule, including weekends.
