Offer Description Applications are invited for two temporary posts of a Research Nurse within UCD School of Medicine. The Research Nurses will support research trials based in St Vincent's University Hospital (and other clinical sites as required.) The UCD Clinical Research Centre (UCD CRC) is an academic‑led, patient‑focused facility for clinical translational research based at both the Mater Misericordiae and St Vincent's University Hospitals. It operates under a single integrated governance structure within the UCD School of Medicine. In addition to supporting a large portfolio of investigator‑ and industry‑led clinical research projects, the UCD CRC is also a leader in the delivery of clinical research training. The UCD CRC is the focal point for engagement with industry (pharmaceutical companies, CROs, regulatory authorities) and has growing national and international collaborations. Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 1st of December 2025. Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified. Any applications which are still in progress at the closing time of 12:00 noon (Local Irish Time) on the specified closing date will be cancelled automatically by the system. Additional Information Eligibility criteria - Must be registered with the general division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). - Have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience. - Highly motivated, with drive and initiative. - Have proven clinical and leadership skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Good organisational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to focus on and produce results and prioritise objectives. - Management and interpersonal skills required to integrate as part of a diverse research team. - Ability to make decisions and meet deadlines. - Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint). - Candidates must demonstrate an awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. - Experience in the field of clinical trials. - Experience in translational "bench to bedside" research. #J-18808-Ljbffr
