Banking Associate

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a progressive and highly regarded commercial law firm, seeking to recruit a Banking Associate (NQ–3 years’ PQE) to join their expanding team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of Ireland’s top transactional banking practices, advising on a broad range of domestic and cross-border banking matters.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to three years’ post-qualification experience who is looking to gain high-quality experience in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The Role

- Advise on a wide range of transactions including corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, development lending, and refinancing
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on both domestic and international matters
- Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documentation, and related financial contracts
- Assist with client relationship management and participate in business development initiatives

The Person

- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–3 years’ PQE)
- Experience in banking law is desirable but not essential
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills
- Commercially minded and proactive in a team environment
- Strong academic background and a keen interest in banking and transactional work
