Financial Crime Advisory Location/Office Policy: Hybrid -Minimum of two days a week in our office in Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18. Can you help us to protect our customers, through excellence in the prevention and detection of Financial Crime? Do you communicate with clarity, confidence and impact? Can you provide clear, informed, risk-aware advice to our colleagues, to help them manage financial crime risk while continuing to support our customers? What is the Role: The role sits in the Financial Crime Advisory team, which is part of the first line of defence, with the aim of enabling and supporting business areas in managing their financial crime risks and obligations in line with AIB Policy and Standards. The key focus of the role will be the identification of financial crime training requirements, the design of training to meet those needs, and the delivery of that training to the relevant audience. Key accountabilities: Engaging with multiple stakeholders to obtain feedback, input and agreement on the development of training solutions to financial crime issues. Reviewing requests, queries and feedback being received through the AML Advisory Mailbox and AML Forum to identify training requirements and knowledge gaps. Developing training campaigns for roll out across the various business areas in a manner that maximises the reach and effectiveness of training modules. Designing and delivering training modules on a variety of financial crime topics to a range of staff working in various business areas. Providing practical support and advice on financial crime related issues, to the first line business areas, through the AML Advisory mailbox. Supporting the implementation of changes to procedures resulting from gap analysis, risk assessment, audit/assurance testing, regulatory change and other out of course events. Advising business units, strategic projects and working groups on financial crime, so that they can fulfil their obligations and manage risk appropriately. Drafting papers and submissions that articulate financial crime issues, assess the risks, outline the options and propose the solutions, to the relevant change and approval forums. Knowledge and understanding of financial crime risk. Demonstrates attention to detail with complementary analysis and communication skills. Organised and able to manage the delivery of multiple actions within agreed timelines.
