The Origin Green Ambassador Programme takes 10 Ambassadors who are passionately committed to the better management of our planet’s resources, on a 22-month journey towards an MSc in Business Sustainability. Placed with global businesses that are playing leading roles in sustainability development, Origin Green Ambassadors have quickly become trusted partners and have taken leadership roles in the development of important initiatives. In doing so, their engagement provides an invaluable opportunity to share the vision of Origin Green, and the commitment of Irish food and drink companies to it, with senior leadership within these organisations.
Ambassadors receive a Masters in Business Sustainability from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School, while gaining international experience with large multinational Food & Drink Organisations.
The Programme Structure This 22-month programme combines real-world and academic learning, blending block release modules and continuous project work. On placement, you will be assigned to international food and drink companies and work on live sustainability projects.

Applications welcome from graduates with a minimum of 4 years’ experience

Professional & Career Development - Through a combination of academic modules and placements over the 22 months you will enhance your professional and career development in the Irish Food, Drink and Horticulture industry. Extensive training in: Consumer Insights, Sustainability Brand Marketing, Digital Innovation and Leadership
Scholarship Bursary - A monthly scholarship bursary to assist with living expenses in your market
Full-funded Masters Degree - An internationally recognised MSc in Business Sustainability from UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School. Fully funded by Bord Bia; no academic fees incurred by participants.
Food Industry Experience - Placement with Bord Bia client companies and customers to apply in-class learnings to sustainability departments and complete placement briefs. Gain extensive experience in sustainability, regenerative agriculture, ESG and leadership
Member of Bord Bia Talent Academy Alumni Network - Access to job opportunities, alumni events, guest speakers, and mentorship
Student Assistance Programme (SAP) - Health and wellbeing supports including counselling, digital resources
Laptop - Complimentary laptop provided for the programme and to keep after completion
Flights - Flights from Ireland to the assigned client location after induction and return flights for block-release lectures
