Social Care Leader Full Time Permanent and Fixed Term Posts Saint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East Services are now inviting applications for the post of Social Care Leader. Dublin South East provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin . This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned service in the intellectual disability sector in residential however, from time to time may include working with children's services. We are funded by the HSE and as such the role is within the public service and subject to annual increments, generous annual leave, and pensions. The successful candidate(s) will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users. Role Summary Applications are invited for the post of Social Care Leader supporting individuals with an intellectual disability in our Residential Service. This is a person centred, dynamic and challenging 24/7 service. Minimum Requirements Reporting to the Person In Charge (PIC), the Social Care Leader should have the following: Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies/Social Care/Nursing or equivalent. If applying for CNM1, be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centred systems services and supports. A minimum of 2 years working with people who have an intellectual disability. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models. Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and change management. The ability to motivate and develop a staff team and ensure staff implement organisational policies and procedures. A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of a 24/7 service A Full Manual Driver's License Remuneration Salary Grade 3030 - Social Care Leader on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale. €52,441 - €61,241 Location The location of this role is Dublin South East . However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
