ProSource is excited to be partnered with an Accountancy practice in Galway that is in requirement for anAccountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will haveexperienceworking in asmall to medium practice inIreland, and be ready to hit the ground running.Audit experiencewould be beneficial. There is a veryattractive salaryon offer for the successful candidate, this practice is also invested in its employees and would be open to flexible / hybrid working. On site Parking and facilities are provided. Responsibilities : Preparation of Financial Statements. Providing training and support to junior staff, mentoring and delegating tasks. Relationship Management: Managing a Portfolio of Clients and attending to their needs. Auditing (if applicable). Revenue reporting (VAT/ Tax). Engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Assistant clients with budgeting and forecasting needs. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax laws/ regulatory requirements. Business Advisory Support / Tax planning. Adhoc requests as and when required. Work Experience: Experience in a practice environment within a Small-medium practice in Ireland. MUST HAVE IRISH PRACTICE EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 3 YEARS. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Accountancy policies and practice requirements. Team player, with ability to work on own initiative. Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook. Cloud Accounting software knowledge. Apply Now.
