We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established medium-sized accountancy practice based in Galway City, who are seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing team. The Role This is a key position within the Audit department, ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 12 years PQEwith Big 4 or Top 10 audit experience. While 6070% of your time will be focused on Audit, you will also gain hands-on experience across: Accounts preparation Tax compliance (Corporation Tax, VAT, Income Tax) Company secretarial filings and structures Due diligence on M&A transactions Corporate finance assignments (bank refinancing, loan applications, etc.) A wide range of advisory projects across multiple industries The firm is committed to training, supporting, and integrating the right candidate, offering a role that differs from a traditional Big 4 environment due to the breadth of work and depth of client interaction. Key Responsibilities Lead audits for a variety of clients across sectors Prepare audit-exempt financial statements Planning, resourcing and structuring assignments. Preparing audit work papers and financial statements for review by the audit manager, director or partner. Work closely with partners on advisory and corporate finance projects Liaise directly with clients, building long-term relationships Ideal Candidate ACA/ACCA qualified with 12 years PQE in Audit Background in a Big 4 or Top 10 practice Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and work to deadlines ProSource is a specialist recruitment company providing Finance recruitment solutions across Ireland.
