THE ROLE: You will drive the delivery of industry-leading solutions and product launches across AMD products and our target markets. You will help with process improvement while increasing communication and collaboration with stakeholders on engineering and business teams. THE PERSON: You are a strong communicator who understands both high-level strategies and detailed tactical matters. Results oriented, you are resourceful and can work effectively to influence a variety of stakeholders. You demonstrate a strong knowledge of and execution of program management, an outstanding track record of delivering product launches, and experience with complex projects that span HW, SW and working with OEMs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all aspects of product launches, from concept through to launch and the eventual end-of-life of solutions to enable outstanding solutions Drive alignment between product solutions and customer platforms to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the product life cycle Provide strong program management of cross-functional teams, influencing and ensuring results are completed, and forging positive relationships with cross-functional teams Deliver results in an effective and timely manner, while continuously improving process and product Communicate effectively, in writing and in person, to deliver clear and concise information to AMD managers and executives REQUIRED SKILLS: Demonstrated experience driving and program managing product launches Solid track record of working within timelines and bold schedules Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly and having credibility with technical teams Experience evaluating risks and tradeoffs, and present solution options to executive teams PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Program management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within an engineering-based organization Familiarity with the semiconductor industry, especially the various functions of graphics firmware, driver software and platform hardware ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline Program Management certification a plus Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
