POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to ensure on-time delivery of complex, cross-functional product development projects and products for the Medical, Semiconductor and Industrial Power Electronics sectors. This role requires an on-site strategic thinker with a strong process orientation, deep understanding of product development cycles, and proven leadership in managing global teams and resources. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Leadership: Leads a cross-functional project team through all phases from concept through commercialization using Stage Gate or similar structured development processes Program Ownership: Manages projects according to Product Development Process and ensures that any scope changes to the financial targets are raised with recommendations for appropriate actions Organisational Alignment: Supports marketing and design engineering in preparing Request for Quotation or program development proposals Global Collaboration: Drive innovation and execution across global teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions Resource Management: Optimize the use of global factory and operations resources, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables Process Excellence: Champion continuous improvement and process discipline across all phases of the product lifecycle Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify risks, manage mitigation plans, and lead change control processes People Leadership: Mentor and guide direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a standard office environment Domestic and international travel of up to 10% Interfaces with internal customers in all functional areas and may interface with external customers SKILLS: Strong knowledge of product development cycles, especially in regulated environments Demonstrated experience with stage gate, agile, or hybrid project methodologies Proven ability to lead global teams and manage international resources for multiple parallel projects Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Attention to detail Well organized and disciplined Ability to make independent decisions with initiative and tact Must be able to interact with people at all levels and locations in the organization International awareness and sensitivity Ability to manage to aggressive timelines Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (including Project and Visio) and SAP EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field 8+ years of experience in project management within Power Electronics, Medical Devices, or related high-tech industries 8+ years of experience in leading/managing people and projects (indirect + direct) Demonstrated communication and leadership skills Preferred: Experience in successfully managing cross-functional teams Experience in developing and executing project budgets Degree specifically in Electronics Engineering PMI Certification WHAT AE OFFERS: Opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies in the medical industry and beyond A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment Competitive compensation and benefits Global and local career development opportunities
