Title and Summary

Position Overview: The Technology Foundations program within Mastercard's Data & Services organization provides infrastructure solutions for cross-cutting concerns. We collaborate with product engineering teams to develop, secure, test, and deploy solutions.

Responsibilities include:

- Automate workflows to ensure stability and reliability
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and improve support processes
- Act as primary on-call support for CI/CD and infrastructure incidents
- Support market-facing teams to enhance infrastructure stability
- Guide teams exploring new technologies
- Perform system maintenance and address security vulnerabilities

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

- 1+ year experience with CI/CD pipelines and security tools
- 1+ year experience with Day-2 operations, observability, and alerting
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field (preferred)

Recent Work Examples:

- Automated installation of software updates
- Partnered with teams for infrastructure improvements
- Automated application configuration with SQL stored procedures
- Resolved high-impact support requests
- Automated alert responses to reduce on-call burden
