THE ROLE
We are seeking to appoint a Line Manager for ______, responsible for leading a department and a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and coach your team to ensure excellent service, standards, and product availability.
Achieve all key performance indicators for your departments.
Make daily decisions to support your team’s performance.
Implement the training plan, ensuring all colleagues are trained, validated, and have up-to-date training records.
Ensure departmental routines and systems are completed accurately and timely.
Plan seasonal, trade-driving, and promotional activities to maximize sales and presentation.
Maintain all safety and legal routines, addressing any issues proactively.
Communicate the importance of objectives, conduct regular reviews, and support career development through live PDP discussions.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team skills.
Encourage behavioral improvements and customer-focused service.
Create an environment fostering innovation and personal growth.
Model a customer- and colleague-centric culture where shopping and working are enjoyable.

Prioritize customer needs in all actions.
Build relationships with customers and serve with pride.
Ensure product availability and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness on the shop floor and back areas.
Follow department routines and company policies, including health and safety.
Support colleagues in other departments when needed.
EXPERIENCE
Previous management experience is essential.
Proven track record in delivering customer and colleague satisfaction, adaptability, achieving objectives in fast-paced environments, and influencing at senior levels. Retail experience is preferred.
