Monitor and supervise the delivery of care to residents. Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident. . The Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements: Nursing Qualification and Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) 3 years post-registration experience of nursing older people. 3 years experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area. Demonstrate sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice together with future trends in elder care and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Hold a post registration management qualification in health or a related field, Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable.
