Our client, a private Healthcare Group based in Dublin 5 that provides rehabilitation and reablement, complex care management and transitional & step‑down care for patients discharged from hospital, is looking to hire a full‑time Assistant Director of Nursing / Nurse Practice Development Coordinator to support the Director of Nursing and their clinical and care team.

Key Duties

- Maintain and improve high standards of nursing care and plan, develop, and review projects that strengthen nursing practice.

- Support the development and updating of nursing policies and procedures to meet best practice and regulatory standards.

- Function as the Person‑in‑Charge when required, in line with the Health Act 2007 and HIQA standards.

- Complete all required HIQA notifications and reports accurately and on time.

- Delegate tasks appropriately, considering staff competence and experience.

- Ensure compliance with all legal, professional, and regulatory standards.

- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.

- Monitor and review care standards regularly through audits and feedback.

- Identify and address gaps in training, procedures, and service delivery.

- Must be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.

- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

- Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with a relevant NPD qualification.

- Post‑registration qualification in Caring for People with Dementia.
