Mbryonics are now developing our commercial manufacturing capabilities ahead of the very exciting growth opportunities over the coming years. A critical aspect and requirement in this expansion is to create the documentation to support our end to end manufacturing, test and outsourced processes. This is required as part of our QMS, training, regulatory and engineering requirements. The role will work within our Operations team, primarily in our Manufacturing Engineering team, and will support requirements across the whole business.

What you’ll do

- Write and create documents that detail the manufacturing process in a clear, concise and accurate manner, i.e. SOP’s, JBS’s, etc.

- Documents will capture the technical details, quality requirements and health and safety needs for each process, that can be used by assembly operators and technicians, engineering and quality for confirmation and training purposes.

- The position will be closely linked to the quality documentation control department to ensure compliance in our processes.

- On an ongoing basis the position will be engaged with production, engineering and quality to ensure any updates or changes to the process are captured and documents are updated and approved to ensure accuracy and compliance to our quality system.

- Ensure that process documentation is suitable and usable for training and certification purposes.

- The role will require in depth interaction with each process, which will be on the manufacturing line, and working with the SME’s for each process to verify the technical details of each document.

- There will also be a need to create visual aids, such as quality standards, flowcharts and diagrams as needed within the documents that are created.

Who you are

- Experience working within manufacturing environments, with a level of technical complexity, and where compliance and control are required as part of the quality management system.

- A collaborative approach, with experience working across different departments, and a willingness to seek support for clarification and content as needed.

- Comfortable working in a busy and fast paced environment, where meeting deadlines and project dates is critical.

- Knowledge and understanding of how a quality management system works, specifically the manufacturing compliance and documentation control (revision control) aspects of the system, and how critical they are to the success of the business.

- Good technical writing ability of clear and concise documents for complex processes, with a strong attention to detail.

- A level of understanding of manufacturing processes, how processes flow, and an appreciation of technical aspects of equipment and process steps.

- Good communication skills, critical for working with the manufacturing, engineering and quality teams, and for communicating progress and giving updates as needed.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office and other tools that will be needed for the purposes of carrying out the role.

- Flexible and willingness to change focus areas as priorities change.
