Role Overview As an Audit Manager, the role encompasses a diverse of responsibilities vital to the success and growth of the firm. Reporting directly to the Partners, the position involves aligning efforts with firm objectives while leading audit and audit exempt assignments. Overseeing a team of audit professionals, the manager ensures client satisfaction by meeting deadlines and managing budgets effectively. Additionally, maintaining client relationships is pivotal, including coordinating service offerings from other departments. Staying updated on auditing standards and regulations is essential, as is imparting knowledge through training junior staff. Moreover, the Audit Manager contributes strategically to the firm's growth trajectory, identifying opportunities for expansion and of Form Your Profile The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in auditing or accounting within a medium to large practice environment. Tax experience would be beneficial. Demonstrated success in managing and nurturing staff development is essential. Strong planning and organizational abilities are necessary, along with the capability to provide clear guidance to others. A deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations is expected, coupled with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent computer literacy skills round out the desired qualifications for this role.
