CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR Mater Private is seeking a highly motivated Claims Administrator to join our team at MPN. Job Title Claims Administrator Department Finance Reporting Line Claims Assessment Supervisor Hours of Work Thirtyseven hours each week exclusive of meal breaks, with flexibility (regarding actual working hours) to suit the local work practices and demands of the service. Remuneration Commensurate with experience Purpose of the Role We are looking for a detailoriented and dependable Claims Administrator to join our Claims Assessments Team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assessing medical claims for submission to insurance companies. You will serve as a key link between internal departments and play an important part in delivering a smooth and responsive claims process for both patients and insurers. Key Responsibilities Assess and validate claims data in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all required information is complete prior to submission. Collaborate closely with the Consultant Support Team to ensure claims meet required standards. Work alongside the Submissions and Insurer Payments Team to support a seamless endtoend claims process. Flag and escalate any inconsistencies or issues that may delay claims submission or payment. Support the team in meeting performance targets, particularly around turnaround times and quality metrics. Contribute to ongoing improvements in claims accuracy, documentation standards, and patient service. Key Requirements Prior experience in claims processing or administrative work in a healthcare or insurance setting. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working across multiple systems (experience with Mediclaim and Meditech is an advantage). Collaborative approach and ability to work well within a team environment. Professional and empathetic manner when dealing with patients. Desirable Knowledge of private medical insurance processes. Experience liaising with both clinical and administrative teams.
