Graduate BCAR Coordinator

The Graduate BCAR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the BCAR Manager with the collation of all project documentation and will be based in Maynooth.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Carrying out quality inspections on all works with BCAR Manager/ Senior BCAR Coordinator
2. Collation of all project documentation relating to the assigned certifier/design certifier's inspection plans and the Building Control Amendment Regulations 2014
3. Liaising with the Assigned Certifier and Resident Engineers on NCRs raised and review of close observations with them.
4. Co-ordination of commencement notices
5. Co-ordination of inspection plans and tracking of same during the course of the project
6. Compilation of required product certification from contractors with BCAR Manager/ Senior BCAR Coordinator
7. Tracking of open compliance issues on projects
8. Coordination and liaison with all parties involved in a construction project
9. Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
10. Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with the public and stakeholders
11. Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Minimum Requirements

1. You hold or are working towards a Degree qualification in Construction Management, Building Surveying, or Architectural Technology
2. You must have the ability to use initiative and be self-motivated
3. An interest in residential property is desirable
4. Ability to work as part of a team is essential
5. Good IT skills are also required
