Our Graduate Programme is designed to support our Graduates in their roles, progressing their development and providing access to key knowledge across the business.
Position: Graduate Civil Design Co-ordinator
The Graduate Civil Design Co-ordinator will work within the design department assisting the team with various civil design co-ordination actions of various projects across the portfolio. Duties will include tracking design progress, assisting the Civils design manager in day-to-day duties, recording meeting minutes, conducting assessments, assisting in surveys, and using civils software to assist drafting, designing, visualisation, and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Update the various progress and tracking schedules to ensure alignment with overall design programmes.
- Assist Design managers on various projects.
- Assist with the co-ordination and administration of all required site surveys and condition assessments.
- Attend design team meetings.
- Assist with administrative duties from time to time.
- Attend various seminars and courses to progress.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 7/8 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management/Land Surveying discipline.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the field of Civil Engineering (3rd level work placement or similar) is desirable but not essential.
- Self-motivated.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Strong Planning and Organisation Skills.
- Excellent Reporting Skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
