Job Title: Education Programme Manager Department: Education Reporting to: Programme Director or Associate Programme Director Employment: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract Job Purpose/Description: The role holder will manage all aspects of specific education programmes and modules throughout the complete life cycle of the programmes. This will include supporting the Programme Director/Associate Programme Director in the design phase, through to the delivery phase incorporating changes as required and the ultimate wind down as the programme as comes to the end of its life. The role will involve engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external. The external stakeholders include associate faculty, students and corporates, while internal stakeholders include Programme Director, Associate Programme Director, Dean and Chief Learning Office, Deputy Dean, RDSS, LRS and IT. The Programme Manager will also support the marketing of the programmes, co-ordinate the development and delivery of content and assessment materials, answer student queries, attend exam boards and work with the Programme Director to ensure that the academic rigour, quality assurance and UCD regulations are applied consistently. Responsibility Level: The Programme Manager is responsible for promoting the programme, ensuring the efficient onboarding of students, ensuring availability of course materials to students, responding promptly to student queries, obtaining feedback from students on each module and meeting the QA and registry requirements in relation to the operation of the programme. In completing these tasks, the Programme Manager will have to manage competing demands to ensure that deadlines are met. From time to time the programme manager may be asked to become involved in education specific / cross-functional projects where capacity allows. Key Responsibilities: Manage the accuracy of all programme information presented both internally and externally. Supporting the sales and marketing activities for the programme. Plan and coordinate the delivery of the programme/modules including eLearning, manual content and workshops as appropriate. Manage the admissions of students onto programmes/modules, to ensure admission criteria are met and relevant documentation is prepared for approval. Ensuring that all learners have ahigh-qualityCustomer Experience. Ensure that Associate Faculty have the supports needed to deliver high quality, engaging learning. Co-ordinate the provision of assessment material and/or results for processing by Registry. Be an effective communicator with all key stakeholders throughout the delivery of the programme. Ensure strict adherence to relevant Quality Assurance processes and help develop processes. Work closely on supporting IT platforms to deliver examinations and assessments. Work as part of a team with the Dean, Deputy Dean, Programme Director, Associate Programme Director, associate faculty and other programme managers to review and develop existing programmes and help design new programmes. This will include but not limited to arranging annual team meetings with faculty, preparing document for programme review and completing any necessary follow up action. Attend and contribute actively to Team and monthly Education Department meetings. Develop micro learning content for IOB Learn and work closely with the Education Team. Research and stay up to date with developments in education and learning. Liaise with educational partners as required. User testing of IT enhancements as required. Undertaking training to assist with programme development and delivery. Collaboration across the business and in projects and/or initiatives as required Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies. Perform other duties, initiatives and projects as assigned. Skills: Proficient IT skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficient in use of Salesforce. Proficient in use of Moodle. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, particularly written. With on the-job experience develop: Good knowledge of QA procedures within education/IOB. Excellent knowledge of IOB programmes and modules that the job holder manages and able to communicate key information to potential and current students. Knowledge of UCD regulations as they relate to IOB. Competencies: High achiever with a focus on standards and excellence in the delivery of education programmes. Qualifications / Experience Level: Primary degree in business/financial services or education or 5 years experience in a financial services or education environment. QFA holder desirable. Working Conditions & Effort: This is a hybrid role, typically working 23 days per week in IOBs Dublin office. This role involves some travel to meet key stakeholders in offsite venues around Ireland. This role may involve some international travel to support our corporates and students in international venues. Flexibility with regards to working additional hours during busy periods and at weekends is required. The role may involve tight deadlines and periods of high activity, requiring flexibility and strong time management. The role involves coordination across departments and external stakeholders/suppliers, with occasional need to lead workshops or training sessions. The role may involve interaction with corporate stakeholders requiring strong interpersonal skills. The role involves managing multiple modules simultaneously. The role holder must be able to handle pressure situations and assist in the resolution of issues that may arise. The position demands high levels of concentration and attention to detail. The role holder should be aware and take actions to reduce such issues that may arise, including, risk incidents, data breaches and cyber security threats etc. The job entails managing member and student inquiries, requiring the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
