Warehouse Supervisor

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader – Medtech

Location: Finglas, Dublin, Ireland

Department: Operations / Manufacturing / R&D (depending on specific team focus)

Reports To: Operations Manager / Senior Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Summary

The Team Leader will play a crucial role in leading a dynamic team within Uniphar MedTech’s operations. The role involves supervising, mentoring, and developing team members while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The Team Leader will collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals, streamline processes, and maintain high product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of [number] individuals to achieve daily and long-term goals.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and coach team members for professional growth and operational effectiveness.

Operational Oversight

- Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to assess resources and identify bottlenecks.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

- Ensure operations comply with industry regulations.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, safety, and regulatory adherence.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary.

Process Improvement

- Identify and implement process optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Support operational efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction efforts.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, team performance, and operational challenges.
- Prepare reports for senior management on progress and achievements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Quality Management are a plus.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience in regulated environments, familiar with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CE Marking.

Technical Skills

- Understanding of MedTech products and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality practices.
- Proficient in ERP systems (NAV, Microsoft Dynamics).

Leadership & Management Skills

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring team members, strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Soft Skills

- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and organize effectively.
- Motivational skills and ability to manage diverse teams.

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Experience with change management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of H&S and MHE, with relevant skills regarding MHE equipment.
- Awareness of digital transformation and automation trends in MedTech.
