Level 2 IT Systems Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems & Data Administrator to join a Dublin-based team to provide Level 1 to Level 2 IT support. This is a fully office-based role located in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and security of IT systems, Office 365 environment, hardware, user accounts, and data processes.
The primary focus of this role is to support end users and proactively manage IT environments (O365, ERP, VoIP, etc.). In addition, there will be opportunities to participate in ad-hoc project work including data mining, process development, system upgrades, and software implementations, supporting the company’s wider digital transformation initiatives.
This is a mid-level role, ideal for someone with strong IT administration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a keen interest in systems and data management, automations, and digital transformation.
Full training will be provided on all internal systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and understand the importance of data privacy, security, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
User & Systems Administration


Provide first-line support for all IT-related queries from staff.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for escalated technical issues.
Set up, disable, and manage user accounts across company platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues including password resets, access problems, and device connectivity.
Liaise with external IT support providers for escalated issues and service requests (e.g., server, firewall, VPN, remote desktop, Azure, phone systems).


Systems Maintenance & Upgrades


Support the rollout and management of IT tools, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
Oversee updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting for business applications.
Implement and support IT security measures, including mobile device management and email filtering.


Data Management & Reporting


Carry out weekly/monthly data management procedures, including data integrity checks and reporting.
Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate).
Maintain documentation and records related to IT systems, user accounts, and data processes.



Requirements:


Proficient in both spoken and written English.
At least 3 years’ experience in IT administration or a similar role.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows environments.
Experience with user account management, remote desktop environments, and basic networking.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to learn new systems and processes (training provided).
