We are now recruiting for an Assistant Butcher to join our team.

Job Title: Assistant Butcher

Reports to: Head Butcher

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Butcher to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Head Butcher in maintaining the highest standards of kitchen production and food presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and production of processed meats and food products
- Carry out general food preparation and portioning for all kitchen outlets
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Minimize food waste through effective planning and creative reuse
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Ensure all mise en place is properly prepared prior to service

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
