Senior Software Developer (.NET/C#) Location: Dublin, Ireland Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent| Hybrid Salary: € About the Role: A well-established SaaS company is seeking a Senior .NET Software Developer to join its growing engineering team in Dublin. In this role, you'll help design and build an eCommerce platform, supporting large-scale, high-availability services used by customers around the world. You'll focus on backend development using .NET/C#, integrating with third-party billing and identity providers, and delivering secure, scalable APIs in a modern Azure/AWS cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET/C# (.NET 6 or later). Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal services and third-party integrations (billing, authentication, messaging). Implement and maintain secure, high-performance services in Azure and/or AWS. Work with product and architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support a DevOps-friendly engineering culture. Document services, integration points, and architecture decisions clearly and concisely. What You'll Bring: 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development with .NET/C#. Strong understanding of web APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native development. Proficiency with Azure and/or AWS, particularly with services like App Services, Functions, API Gateway, or messaging queues. Experience working with billing systems (e.g., Maxio, Chargebee) and/or identity providers (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO). Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices - CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), IaC, monitoring, logging. Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design principles. Solid grasp of application security, authentication, and authorization. Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams.
