Overview Group Clinic Director (Ireland) – leading Sims IVF clinics across Ireland, in partnership with Curated Partners and Sims IVF. The role is the most senior management position in Ireland and chairs the Senior Management Team (SMT). Works with the Deputy CEO and Head of International and SMT in Ireland to develop and implement the Virtus Health strategic plan for Ireland.
The Group Clinic Director will ensure robust leadership, governance, and policies across the business functions, including Nursing & Clinical Services, Finance, Quality Risk and Compliance, and Human Resources. The position is responsible for the commercial success of the Ireland clinics, including achieving financial and performance KPIs, quality and safety metrics, cost control, P&L, and market share growth.
Responsibilities Assume overall commercial performance, operational leadership, and governance for all Virtus Health IVF clinics in Ireland (Sims Clonskeagh, Sims Cork, Sims Swords IVF clinics and XentraPharm).
Chair the Ireland Senior Management Team (SMT) and collaborate with the Deputy CEO and Head of International on strategy development and implementation.
Ensure robust leadership, management structures, governance and policies across Nursing & Clinical Services, Finance, Quality Risk & Compliance, and Human Resources.
Lead and develop senior leaders to ensure they are qualified, trained and supported in delivering duties and responsibilities.
Drive commercial success, achieve financial and performance KPI targets, and oversee quality, safety, cost control, and growth of market share.
Identify, recommend, plan and implement new scientific, technological, clinical, and commercial opportunities in conjunction with Group Medical Director and Group Scientific Director.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills Previous experience managing a hospital, IVF clinic, or related private healthcare provision facility
Experience managing budgets in excess of €10 million turnover
Patient-focused with experience delivering patient and customer satisfaction improvements
Experience managing medium-scale change programmes including workforce planning and technology introduction
Knowledge of change management techniques and project management methodology
Ability to analyse complex data, develop solutions and deliver interventions for business improvement
Experience managing a workforce of more than 40 staff
Experience developing and coaching leadership teams
Experience delivering sales in a business-to-consumer environment
Experience operating within a regulatory framework
Knowledge of strategic planning process and implementing strategic intentions operationally
Experience working with organizational Boards and knowledge of corporate structure and governance
Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Proficient presentation and public speaking skills
Experience in risk management and development of mitigation plans
Proficient IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams/Zoom)
