About the Role We’re hiring a Head of Business Development – Data Centres to spearhead strategic growth across Europe. Reporting directly to the Executive Director , you’ll be responsible for:
Identifying new clients and projects
Deepening partnerships with existing stakeholders
Positioning Designer Group as the go-to partner for complex data centre builds
You'll work closely with our Leadership and Operations teams to drive opportunity and translate vision into action.
What You’ll Do Business Growth & Strategy
Lead and deliver a focused, results-driven growth plan
Open new doors and expand our footprint in key European markets
Guide strategy alongside our Executive team and Estimation Centre of Excellence
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Represent Designer Group at high-impact events, conferences, and tender meetings
Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and industry influencers
Act as a trusted advisor to clients — articulating value, delivery strength, and innovation
Industry Insight & Brand Advocacy
Monitor trends and competitor activity
Conduct market research and industry profiling
Champion Designer Group’s visibility in the Data Centre space
What You’ll Bring A proven track record in Business Development within the Data Centre sector
An established network of industry contacts across Europe
Strong technical understanding of Data Centre delivery and infrastructure
Natural relationship builder with deep commercial awareness
Credibility at senior level with the confidence to represent our brand at scale
Flexibility to travel regularly or relocate within Europe
