As part of our growing eCommerce engineering team, you’ll contribute to building the next-generation, cloud-native SaaS platform that supports purpose-driven organizations across the globe.In this role, you will focus on developing and enhancing our eCommerce capabilities, building scalable integrations with third-party services, and delivering secure, high-performance cloud solutions.You’ll work closely with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to build robust services that scale—and you'll have the chance to grow your leadership capabilities in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.**What You’ll Do*** Contribute to the design and development of scalable eCommerce services within our Azure and AWS environments.* Implement APIs, billing integrations, identity/authentication services, and messaging components.* Integrate external APIs and third-party systems while ensuring data privacy and secure exchanges.* Optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.* Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our development practices.* Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver value iteratively.* Contribute to documentation of code, service interactions, and architectural decisions.**What You Bring*** 6+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally working with cloud-based services.* Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.* Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and modern development frameworks.* Experience with RESTful APIs, billing platforms (e.g., Maxio, Chargebee), and secure data integration.* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Azure DevOps or Git).* Understanding of modern architectural principles including microservices and event-driven design.* Solid knowledge of best practices in application security and performance optimization.* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.**What's in it for you:*** Private Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid (Irish Life Health – 4D Health 2 Plan) for employees and eligible dependents.* Dental Cover: Employer-paid Level 1 dental coverage through DeCare; optional upgrades available.* Vision Care: Access to eye care and eyewear via DeCare (employee-paid).* Life Insurance: 4x salary lump sum life assurance plus value of pension fund.* Income Protection: 66.67% of base salary after a 26-week waiting period.* Pension Scheme: Employer match of 5% in year 1, 6% after year 3; fully vested after 2 years.* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): Confidential 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support for employees and family.* Annual Leave: 25 days paid time off per year (pro-rated in year 1).* Maternity Leave: Up to 26 weeks at 100% salary after 1 year of service.* Bike to Work Scheme: Tax-free bike/e-bike purchase up to €1,250/€1,500, repaid via payroll deductions.Ministry Brands is a leading provider of SaaS operational management systems, payments platforms, digital engagement tools and background screening solutions for faith-based, non-profit and for-profit organizations.
