Job Title: Staff Nurse - Nursing Home Location: Malahide, Dublin, Ireland Job Type: Full-time / Permanent Department: Residential / Elderly Care Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Home team in Malahide. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a supportive and friendly environment. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred nursing care to residents in line with best practices and NMBI standards. Monitor and assess residents' health, administer medications, and manage care plans. Support residents with daily living activities as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including care assistants, therapists, and doctors. Ensure adherence to infection control, health, and safety standards. Communicate effectively with residents' families and provide updates on health and wellbeing. Participate in training and professional development programs. Requirements Active NMBI Registration (PIN or in process). Recognised Nursing Qualification (RGN preferred). Experience in a Nursing Home or Elderly Care setting is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Desirable Qualifications / Skills Additional training in dementia care, palliative care, or gerontology. Experience in long-term care or complex care needs. BLS / ACLS certification.
