Overview

Director of Nursing at a 66-bed Residential Care Home in South Co. Limerick. Flexible Working Hours (8-hour shifts) Monday – Friday. The Director of Nursing will be supported by a very experienced Chief Operations Manager. This is a full-time permanent role working 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional nursing leadership and operational management for the care home.

- Oversee care plans, staff management, and operational planning and forecasting.

- Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and relevant legislation.

- Collaborate with the Chief Operations Manager to support service delivery and quality standards.

Requirements

- BSc in Nursing

- Full NMBI registration

- QQI Level 6 in Management & Leadership

- Minimum of 3 years management experience working in a Care of the Elderly setting

- Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and relevant legislation

- Experience in managing staff, care plans, and operational planning and forecasting

- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with references

- Must have full legal right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
