Overview Investigation Specialist - Korean and English Speaker, KYC. LOCATION: this is a virtual role based in Ireland. It is mandatory to live or be willing to relocate to Ireland. CONTRACT: 6 months. START DATE: 24th November.

Role: Investigators evaluate transactions and mitigate online ecommerce risk while protecting the global customer base, profitability, and brand. The team works in shifts (including weekends) to cover Amazon’s 7-day operation. Shifts are confirmed after training and flexibility is required.
Responsibilities Investigate suspicious buyer activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon, customers, or merchants.
Communicate via email and telephone with buyers, merchants, and other external and internal customers to make informed risk decisions.
Maintain Amazon's site quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.
Identify and help minimize risk posed by fraud patterns and trends; follow escalation paths when procedures are unavailable to ensure resolution.
Participate in special projects/assignments and partner with appropriate business teams as necessary.
Consistently achieve/exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications Proficiency in both English and Korean with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses.
Experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications Previous work experience in a customer service/retail environment.
Knowledge of or experience in a fraud/risk management environment.
Experience in insurance, finance, data analysis, research, translation or training.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority.
Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to internal and external customers.
